Job Title:
SAP S/4HANA OTC Functional Lead (Order-to-Cash)

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Lead to oversee Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including order management, pricing, invoicing, and billing. This role is responsible for driving functional design, ensuring end-to-end quality across implementation phases, and enabling efficient sales execution and revenue processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end OTC design including order management, pricing, delivery, billing, returns, and customer service processes
  • Define and enforce standardized sales processes while managing approved regional variations
  • Establish and monitor OTC KPIs such as order cycle time, billing accuracy, and dispute resolution timelines
  • Lead solution design for sales documents, pricing procedures, billing processes, and credit/debit flows
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure alignment with revenue recognition, tax, and compliance requirements
  • Create and review functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and outputs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Finance, customer data governance, and portal integrations
  • Validate end-to-end system integrations (EDI, middleware, tax engines, payments)
  • Define reporting requirements and ensure controls, audit trails, and approval processes are in place
  • Partner with security teams on role design and segregation of duties
  • Lead UAT strategy, execution, and defect resolution for OTC processes
  • Oversee data readiness including customer master, pricing conditions, and transactional data migration
  • Define and execute cutover activities and support go-live readiness
  • Lead hypercare activities and post-go-live stabilization
  • Support change management by reviewing training materials and driving user adoption
  • Act as SME for OTC design decisions and manage stakeholder communication, risks, and dependencies

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-12+ years of experience in sales operations/OTC and/or SAP Sales functional leadership
  • 1-2+ years of SAP S/4HANA implementation experience (or ECC to S/4HANA transformation) with OTC ownership
  • Strong knowledge of pricing, order management, delivery, and billing processes
  • SAP S/4HANA Sales functional expertise with understanding of configuration impacts
  • Experience leading UAT and managing quality gates
  • Integration awareness (EDI, middleware, tax/payment interfaces)
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Supply Chain, and data teams
  • Ability to drive fit-to-standard decisions and manage scope effectively
  • Strong communication skills for executive-level reporting and decision-making
  • Experience with Settlement Management/Rebates, Output Management (BRF+), and Fiori apps
  • Exposure to SAP SD/VMS processes and system integrations
  • Experience with complex pricing structures
