Responsibilities

  • Own full lifecycle delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementations for a professional services client.
  • Lead client workshops for requirements confirmation and functional design validation.
  • Guide cross-functional consultants to ensure coherence in architecture and delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and third-party systems while escalating risks as necessary.
  • Maintain clear reporting on RAID, project status, financials, and deliverables according to professional services standards.
  • Define deployment strategies, readiness assessments, and oversee cutover plans while ensuring adherence to governance.
  • Coordinate cutover activities across diverse workstreams and geographies, and establish support structures post-go-live.

Full Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 15+ years of consulting/SAP delivery experience, with recent leadership experience managing SAP S/4HANA transformational initiatives.
• Most recent experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation / system conversion / landscape transformation
• Demonstrated ability to manage client stakeholders and project teams at all levels; proven executive communication and presentation strength.
• Multi module implementation exposure (e.g., Finance, Sales, Procurement, etc.) and experience with multiple full lifecycle SAP engagements.
• Experience in proposal preparation and business case development using SAP solutions (strong plus for consulting-led roles).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
• SAP Activate certification and one or more SAP S/4HANA line-of-business certifications; up-to-date with SAP innovations.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones with global teams

Exposure to professional services-specific SAP processes and cross-module integration (e.g., PS/SD/FI touchpoints)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Own end to end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementation for a professional services client
• Lead client-facing workshops such as requirements confirmation, fit to standard playback, and functional design validation
• Oversee and guide cross functional consultants (e.g., Finance, SD/PS, Solution Architecture) to ensure consistent architecture and delivery across workstreams.
• Manage stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and third party system owners; drive decisions and escalate risks with documented governance.
• Maintain transparent reportingRAID, status, financials, and deliverablesconsistent with professional services delivery lifecycle expectations.
• Define and manage deployment strategy, readiness assessments, and cutover plans; lead stage gate reviews and ensure compliance with governance.
• Coordinate cutover across multiple workstreams/geographies; establish a go live command center and plan hypercare support.

Communicate deployment status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders.

Generic Managerial Skills, If any
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to manage global teams and coordinate across multiple workstreams.

Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure; strong governance mindset for large ERP go-lives

Strong planning/organizational skills with disciplined RAID and stage-gate execution

Salary Range: $180000 - $220000 a year
