This role combines program execution with significant customer engagement and business responsibility. You will lead decision-making across complex, matrixed teams, manage multiple product lines and evolving customer requirements, negotiate commitments, and build lasting relationships with OEM and customer partners. You will also help shape longer-term priorities by managing strategic investments, contributing to product and program planning, and navigating decisions where information may be incomplete. For a seasoned program leader, this is a chance to manage both the day-to-day execution and longer-term direction of products throughout their lifecycle.

This is an onsite role in Windsor Locks, CT.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the re-application of existing products and programs while supporting the introduction of new programs and capabilities across multiple product lines and services
  • Manage product and program changes, including the implementation of new or enhanced functionality across assigned offerings
  • Serve as a key point of contact for multiple customers and prospective customers, building strong relationships and helping ensure commitments are understood and delivered
  • Influence and negotiate with internal teams and customers to align priorities, resolve challenges, and meet or exceed program commitments
  • Lead complex, matrixed Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and guide decision-making across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other supporting functions
  • Own the overall performance of assigned value streams, including cost, schedule, technical performance, delivery, and customer expectations
  • Evaluate complex program issues, apply sound judgment when information is incomplete, and drive decisions needed to keep programs moving forward
  • Build effective internal and external networks and communicate program priorities, direction, and expectations across IPTs and key stakeholders
  • Plan, direct, and monitor program-related budgets and resources associated with strategically important value streams
  • Support long-term research and development investments, including initiatives that may span one to five years
  • Provide input into strategic planning for assigned products, programs, and value streams based on customer needs, program performance, and future business priorities
  • Apply advanced knowledge of program management systems and processes to guide execution, identify risks, and improve overall program performance

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex programs, products, or value streams in an aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment
  • Working knowledge of program management systems and disciplines, including resource planning, integrated scheduling, cost controls, and earned value management

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes, technical requirements, and product development environments
  • Knowledge of aerospace contracts and the commercial considerations that influence program execution
  • Experience supporting proposal development, pursuit activities, and customer negotiations
  • Understanding of aerospace policies, procedures, and business systems related to quality, manufacturing, and program management
  • Experience building relationships with internal and external customers and working across cross-functional teams to deliver program commitments
