Role description

You Are:

A SAP Practice Engagement Manager to drive growth of our SAP business across strategic existing accounts and new clients. You will be focused on growing our SAP business across existing and new accounts in close collaboration with our Account managers and Client partners across industries. You are a SAP sales leader with a strong SAP practitioner background, deep industry knowledge, strong client relationships, and the ability to identify, shape and close strategic SAP opportunities. You will be comfortable engaging CIOs, CFOs, COOs and other senior business and technology leaders, understanding their transformation priorities, and translating those priorities into meaningful SAP opportunities.

The Opportunity:
  • Drive growth of the SAP business across existing strategic accounts and new clients.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and build a strong pipeline of SAP transformation, modernization and managed-services opportunities.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior client executives and position the organization as a strategic SAP transformation partner.
  • Bring proactive SAP perspectives, ideas and industry-relevant solutions to clients-often ahead of formal RFPs.
  • Originate, shape and lead strategic SAP pursuits from early-stage opportunity through solutioning, proposal, executive presentations, commercials and closure.
  • Work closely with Client Partners, account teams, hunting/sales teams, SAP Practice leaders, solution architects and global delivery teams.
  • Build strong relationships across the SAP ecosystem and collaborate with SAP on joint account and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the evolving SAP roadmap, including S/4HANA and Cloud ERP, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, Business AI/Joule, Business Data Cloud, Signavio, LeanIX and next-generation SAP AMS

What You Need:
  • At least 15+ years of professional experience, with significant experience in SAP consulting and services.
  • Strong SAP consulting pedigree, ideally having progressed through functional, technical, architecture, delivery, advisory or program leadership roles before moving into client engagement and business development.
  • Proven experience originating, shaping and winning SAP consulting and transformation opportunities.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to independently engage senior client stakeholders and facilitate transformation conversations.
  • Good understanding of SAP business processes, solution architecture and the broader SAP product roadmap.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, proposal and commercial skills.
  • Experience working with global consulting and delivery organizations.
  • Established relationships within the SAP, client and industry ecosystem.
  • Collaborative personality with the ability to work effectively across account, sales, practice and delivery teams.
  • A strong farmer-and-hunter mindset-equally comfortable growing established relationships and creating new ones.
  • A strong understanding of the business processes, transformation priorities and SAP opportunities relevant to their industry.


Preferred Experience:
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following industries: Industrial Manufacturing, High Tech & Semiconductor, Consumer Products Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Devices.


Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote with travel

Compensation Range: $130,000-261,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent childcare, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
