Full Job Description
We are seeking a professional to lead the SAP S/4HANA deployment for the Downstream Planning function at our new manufacturing facility in Mt. Juliet, TN. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing end-to-end planning processes, including order scheduling, material availability validation, demand forecasting, and production planning. The individual will serve as a key resource for training end users, providing ongoing system support, and resolving process or system-related issues. Additionally, this role will identify opportunities for process improvements, develop system enhancement recommendations, collaborate with SAP technical teams to gain alignment, and drive successful implementation of solutions that support operational excellence within the manufacturing environment.

What will you do?
  • Own the activities required (within the Downstream Planning domain) to successfully deploy SAP across multiple product lines.
  • Receive and seek training on SAP (S4 Hana) to become the technical expert for the Downstream Planning domain in the manufacturing plant.
  • Gather and test the required master data for the SAP configuration.
  • Translate current practices into SAP processes.
  • Create training plans and documents to train end-users on processes and daily activities within SAP.
  • Troubleshoot issues identified by end-users and resolve with the technical team, if required.
  • Develop enhancement requests and work with the technical team to implement and deploy.
  • Align SAP processes with central planning team practices.
  • Collaborate with SAP power users from other domains to simplify and streamline SAP processes.
  • Capture and share lessons learned with manufacturing plants preparing for SAP deployment.

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment (high mix, low volume products)
  • Proficient analyzing, manipulating, and translating large data sets (especially MS Excel and SQL)
  • Prior experience utilizing SAP
  • Experience training individuals and large groups
  • Experience defining processes and creating flowcharts
  • Experience planning and executing short-term projects

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
