Full Job Description
The Director IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is responsible for leading the Supply Chain Planning function, ensuring that the company's supply chain processes are efficient, responsive, and aligned with business objectives. This role will have direct ownership of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), driving the implementation, continuous improvement, and utilization of the process and tool across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in supply chain management with advanced knowledge of SAP IBP to support integrated demand and supply planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and overall supply chain visibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Ensure supply chain processes are aligned with business objectives and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance) to drive operational excellence.
  • Serve as the business owner of the SAP IBP tool, responsible for its implementation, customization, and ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure SAP IBP meets business requirements.
  • Lead user training, change management, and continuous improvement efforts to maximize the value of SAP IBP.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics within SAP IBP to drive supply chain insights, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Lead the IBP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial planning.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, ensuring timely and accurate data is provided for decision-making.
  • Drive collaborative discussions and decision-making to balance demand and supply while optimizing inventory and service levels.
  • Utilize SAP IBP and other analytics tools to generate insights into supply chain performance.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards and reports to track KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns).
  • Use data-driven analysis to recommend improvements in supply chain processes and strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for supply chain planning and SAP IBP, advising on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Manages the work of employees that are using Planning Software (IBP) to perform Supply Chain Planning tasks.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain planners and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Ensure the team is fully equipped to leverage SAP IBP and other planning tools to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment between supply chain strategy and overall business objectives.
  • Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

MRP RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own enterprise MRP strategy, governance, and planning standards.
  • Lead optimization of MRP parameters including safety stock, reorder points, lead times, and lot sizing.
  • Serve as business owner for SAP MRP design, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop inventory planning policies that balance service levels, working capital, and material availability.
  • Oversee MRP-generated replenishment and purchase requisition processes.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to inventory performance, material availability, and planning effectiveness.
  • Drive standardization of material planning and replenishment processes across the organization.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Operations, IT, and Finance to improve inventory planning and execution.
  • Act as the enterprise subject matter expert for SAP MRP, inventory policy, and replenishment planning.
  • Lead training, governance, and change management efforts related to MRP processes and planning best practices.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management, supply planning, demand planning, or inventory management, preferably in construction industry
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) and/or Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF) (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of global supply chain trends and best practices. (Preferred)
  • Experience using SAP IBP (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) is desirable. (Preferred)
