Role Overview:The SAP HANA and BW/4HANA Consultant will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data warehousing and reporting solutions. This role leverages SAP HANA Modeling, SAP BW/4HANA, Smart Data Integration (SDI)/ETL, ABAP, and SQL to build scalable data models, integrate data from diverse source systems, and facilitate high-performance analytics and reporting for business users.
Key Responsibilities: - Gather requirements from business stakeholders for reporting, analytics, and data integration.
- Architect comprehensive SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA solutions aligned with business and technical specifications.
- Develop and optimize SAP HANA calculation views, CDS views, and SAP BW/4HANA data models including ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views.
- Design and implement SDI/ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and scripts for data processing and performance.
- Monitor and enhance query performance, data load efficiency, and system scalability.
- Provide clean, reliable, and well-structured data models to support reporting tools and dashboards.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and support documentation.
- Contribute to BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA migration projects.
Required Skills: - Strong experience in SAP HANA Modeling.
- Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Smart Data Integration (SDI) and ETL processes.
- Experience with ABAP.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of BODS.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and reporting architectures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Qualifications: - 10-12+ years of experience with BW4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAC.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels.
- Experience in the Pharma or Manufacturing industry is highly desired.
