Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced SAP Group Reporting Architect to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of our financial consolidation and corporate reporting solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between operational finance (FI/CO) and group-level consolidations.

The ideal candidate must have a deep functional understanding of core SAP FI/CO (specifically S/4HANA Universal Journal/ACDOCA architecture) and hands-on expertise in configuring and architecting S/4HANA Group Reporting to deliver automated, compliant, and real-time statutory and management consolidations.

Key Responsibilities

Group Reporting Architecture & Configuration

  • ConsolidationDesign: Architect and configure SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, includingconsolidation units, groups, consolidation charts of accounts (yCOA), andFS items.
  • DataRelease & Collection: Configure the data release from theUniversal Journal (ACDOCA to ACDOCU) and set up SAP Group Reporting DataCollection (GRDC) for non-S/4HANA entities.
  • ConsolidationProcessing: Design and maintain rules for Currency Translation,Intercompany Matching and Eliminations (ICMR), and Consolidation ofInvestments (COI).
  • Validation& Reporting: Define validation rules and methods to guarantee dataintegrity. Build analytical queries, Fiori reporting layouts, andFiori-based consolidation monitor tasks.

Core FI/CO Integration

  • S/4HANAFinance Alignment: Ensure seamless alignment between operationalaccounting (General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit CenterAccounting) and Group Reporting mapping structures.
  • UniversalJournal Synergy: Optimize the design of the S/4HANA Universal Journalto ensure transactional data flows into the consolidation engine withoutcomplex reconciliation steps.
  • CloseProcess Orchestration: Partner with corporate controllership andaccounting teams to streamline and accelerate month-end, quarter-end, andyear-end close processes.

Advisory & Governance

  • TechnicalLeadership: Lead blueprinting sessions, fit-to-standard workshops, andfeasibility studies for Group Reporting initiatives.
  • CleanCore & Fit-to-Standard: Drive standard SAP best practices,avoiding unnecessary customizations while leveraging standard CDS viewsand APIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional SAP experience, with at least 2 yearsof active project architecture/configuration specifically in SAPS/4HANA Group Reporting.
  • FinancialFoundations: Strong foundation in corporate finance principles, legalconsolidations, multi-currency translations, and international accountingstandards (e.g., IFRS / US GAAP).
  • CoreFI/CO Knowledge: Solid configuration and functional knowledge of SAPFI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, andCO-PA/Profitability Analysis).
  • SystemIntegration: Proven experience handling data integration between SAPERP (S/4HANA or ECC) and EPM/BI systems (such as SAP Analytics Cloud, BPC,or BW).
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate highly technical SAP consolidationmechanics to corporate finance stakeholders and CFO-level leadership.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experiencewith SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for planning or reporting integration.
  • Experiencemigrating legacy consolidation systems (e.g., SAP BPC, BCS, or Hyperion)to SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.

SAP Certification in Financial Accounting or SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting.
