Job Description:
SAP ABAP DEVELOPER
Contribute to the success of key project initiatives and support meaningful mission outcomes as an SAP ABAP Developer at GDIT. In this role, you'll help drive high-quality results for critical government programs.
• Collaborate with analysts and functional experts to clarify requirements and validate business needs.
• Develop business rules and write efficient, secure code, following best practices using SAP ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and supporting SAP technologies .
• Perform unit testing to ensure solutions function as designed.
• Resolve defects to align solutions with documented requirements.
• Conduct peer reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your SAP ABAP expertise and a drive for innovation to GDIT. The SAP ABAP developer must have:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Experience: 7+ years of SAP development or ERP-related experience
• Technical skills: SAP ABAP
• Good communication skills, Logic and Reasoning skills
• Public Trust Background Investigation Required
• US citizenship required
Preferred Skills / Experience:
• Familiarity with CBP SAP Solution
• Technical skills: SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and supporting SAP technologies
• SAP Certification
The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
