Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) campaigns, journeys, automations, data extensions, audience segmentation, and email communications.
• Conduct ETL testing to verify data movement, transformation logic, data quality, and reconciliation across systems.
• Validate Salesforce integrations with upstream and downstream applications.
• Develop and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Execute API testing and integration testing using tools such as Postman or REST-based frameworks.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, testing best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

o Data Extensions
o Audience Segmentation
o Campaign Management
ETL & Data Testing
• Strong experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.
• Ability to perform source-to-target validation.
• Expertise in data reconciliation and data quality validation.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying large datasets.
Automation Testing
• Hands-on experience with one or more automation tools:
o Selenium
o Playwright
o Cypress (good to have)
• Experience developing reusable automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
API Testing
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Postman or similar tools.
Testing Methodologies
• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• Regression Testing
• End-to-End Testing
• Agile Testing
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Payments domain.
• Knowledge of customer communications, marketing platforms, and campaign management processes.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and enterprise integrations.
• Salesforce certifications are an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification.
• Experience with data migration projects.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar ALM tools.
• Exposure to performance or security testing.
