We are looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst in our Deland, FL office!

  • This is an in-office position (5 days in office, not hybrid or remote).
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.


Summary: The Salesforce Business Analyst serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to maximize the value of the Salesforce platform and related business applications. This position is responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that support sales, customer service, marketing, operations, and other business functions.

The Salesforce Business Analyst collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives, document requirements, design solutions, support implementation efforts, and drive user adoption. This role combines business process expertise, analytical problem-solving, and Salesforce platform knowledge to ensure technology investments align with strategic business goals and deliver measurable value.

Essential Duties:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for Salesforce and related systems.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, automation, reporting, and user experience.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories for technical teams and system administrators.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand operational needs and process challenges.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, and third-party vendors to design and implement solutions.
  • Support Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other platform capabilities as applicable.
  • Define and document business processes, workflows, use cases, process maps, and system requirements.
  • Participate in solution design reviews to ensure proposed solutions meet business objectives and comply with platform best practices.
  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and coordinate testing activities with business stakeholders.
  • Assist with change management, end-user training, communication plans, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Monitor application performance, user feedback, and business outcomes to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Support data governance initiatives, data quality improvement efforts, and reporting standardization.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and metrics that provide actionable business insights.
  • Maintain project documentation, process documentation, training materials, and functional specifications.
  • Assist project managers and leadership teams with project planning, prioritization, status tracking, and resource coordination.
  • Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.
  • Follow Compliance requirements per "KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities."
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


Key Responsibilities - Aligned to Technical Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary business analyst for Salesforce-related projects, enhancements, and operational support activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with business goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, solution validation, and user acceptance activities.
  • Promote best practices related to CRM adoption, process standardization, data quality, and system utilization.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities associated with Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging Salesforce capabilities and process optimization techniques.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with established governance standards.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Salesforce Analyst, or related role.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, or administration.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements using interviews, workshops, process mapping, and user stories.
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CRM processes including lead management, opportunity management, customer service, case management, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security models, permissions, profiles, roles, workflows, flows, and reporting capabilities.
  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification, Salesforce Administrator Certification, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience working with data migration, data integration, and data quality initiatives preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Travel up to 50%
