Construction Project Manager
We are looking for aConstruction Project Manager for our Caledon, Ontario office!

Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.Summary:We areseekinga detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Manager with strong technical knowledge of building systems, building products, and project execution workflows. This role serves as the primary customer partner throughoutthe project lifecycle, owning project scope and key milestones in collaboration with the customer and internal teamsfrom order entry through production and delivery.This rolealsoserves as the critical technical link between construction field requirements and internal operations, ensuring that complex project milestones are met while providing a premium service experience to thecustomer.
The Construction Project Manager applies technicalexpertiseto understand overall project scope,identifypotential gaps or risks, manage RFIs and scope changes, and ensureaccurateexecution against customer requirements. This role supports pre- and post-production customer needs whilemaintainingaccountability for documentation, change management, schedule adherence, and complete financial reconciliation to deliver a high-quality, reliable customer experience.
Essential Duties:- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand overall project scope, system requirements, and milestone expectations from order through completion, applying technical knowledge to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Own and manage customer project milestones while proactivelyidentifyingand communicating scope creep, assessing impacts to schedule, cost, materials, and production, and aligning next steps with the customer tomaintaindelivery commitments.
- Review customer drawings and project documentation toidentifyRFIs, scope clarifications, and technical discrepancies,facilitatingtimelyresolution with customers and internal teams.
- Execute and manage change orders resulting from scope changes, RFIs, or customer-directed updates, ensuringaccuratedocumentation, pricing, and approval.
- Organize,coordinate,and lead cross-functional execution between drafting, engineering, purchasing,financeand manufacturing teams to support customer scope, technical requirements, andinstallation schedules.
- Create and manage order entries for IMP projects, ensuring all material quantities, specifications, and approved scope changes are accurately captured for procurement and production, whilemaintainingstrict compliance with established quality, safety, contractual, and regulatory standards.
- Review and interpret shop drawings and submittals to confirm material requirements, constructability, and alignment with agreed scope.
- Track project progress from order entry through delivery, proactivelyidentifyingrisks, delays, or constraints that mayimpactagreed-upon milestones.
- Maintain complete andaccurateproject documentation, including schedules, RFIs, change orders, communications, and deliverables, using ERP and project management systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customersregardingproject status, production progress, scope changes, delivery scheduling, and milestone updates.
- Collaborate with procurement to support sourcing and schedulingphasesof insulated metal panels and related materials in alignment with approved scope and timelines.
- Ensuretimelypreparation and accuracy of job files, shipping documentation, and closeout materials for customer delivery and handoff.
- Complete invoice and financial reconciliations to ensure billing accuracy and alignment with customer-approved scope, change orders, and project deliverables.
- Analyze project costs, material usage, and scope changes to support project efficiency, cost control, and overall project performance.
- Lead internal coordination meetings and conduct recurring customer virtual project updates, ensuring transparent communication, technical clarity, defined deliverables, and documented action items.
- Proactively address production, supply chain, or shipping issues to minimize disruption to customer schedules and contractual commitments.
- Learn and support customer-specific workflows, reporting requirements, and platforms, including portals, reporting tools, and milestone tracking systems.
- Demonstrate effective communication, accountability, collaboration, and ethicaldecision-makingin a positive, professional manner that reinforces technical competence and supports successful project outcomes
- Conduct customer site visits as necessary to assess site status, review drawings and page turns, andvalidatescope, sequencing, and field conditions that mayimpactproduction, delivery, or project milestones.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence by mentoring peers and promoting standardized project management best practices that support consistent, high-quality execution.
- Support team-wide performance improvements through the application of proven methodologies and standardized workflows.
Education/Experience:- DegreeinBusiness, ProjectManagement, Construction Management, or Engineering,orrelevant degree.
- PMPcertificationrequired
- 7+years' experiencein Customer Service, order management orwithina general or specialty contractor
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects under tight deadlinesina very fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution
- Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools
- Proven ability to generate and deliver reports thatprovideuseful insight into project details.
- In-office position- 5 days/week

Compensation: CAD $115k-$130+k (based on skills, experience, employment history, certifications) plus quarterly discretionary bonus
