Position SummaryThe Salesforce Application Analyst is responsible for partnering with business stakeholders and IT teams to support Salesforce solutions across Sale and related CRM processes. This role gathers and documents business requirements, analyzes current and future state processes, supports configuration and testing activities, and helps ensure Salesforce solutions are implemented effectively and aligned with business needs. The analyst also assists with issue resolution, user support, training documentation, and ongoing system improvements after implementation.
What You'll do as an Applications Analyst- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document Salesforce business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for Salesforce configuration, integrations, reports, dashboards, and data-related requirements.
- Support Salesforce implementation activities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and related CRM processes by coordinating with developers, administrators, testers, integration teams, and business users.
- Assist with troubleshooting Salesforce issues by analyzing user-reported problems, validating expected behavior, documenting defects, and coordinating resolution with technical teams.
- Support data validation, migration readiness, and post-deployment verification activities to ensure Salesforce data and business processes operate as expected.
- Prepare and maintain user documentation, training materials, process guides, release notes, and support procedures for Salesforce users and support teams.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions with business and IT teams to clarify requirements, review solution options, confirm testing results, and track open decisions.
- Monitor Salesforce enhancements, defects, and support requests to ensure timely follow-up, accurate status communication, and alignment with business priorities.
- Stay current with Salesforce capabilities and releases to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and better user adoption.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent vocational field
- Salesforce Platform Admin I certification is required (Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator certification preferred)
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, application analyst, systems analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise Salesforce application.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service Cloud.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Experience supporting system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect management, and production verification activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot business application issues, analyze root cause, document findings, and coordinate resolution with technical and business teams.
- Familiarity with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, data models, security concepts, profiles, permission sets, roles, and basic configuration is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, administrators, testers, integration teams, and project managers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and support documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, facilitate meetings, track open items, and provide clear status updates in a fast-paced environment.

Pay range for this opportunity is $70,250 - $93,750. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
