Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Application Development Lead to guide a development team and drive the evolution of a complex Salesforce platform. This role combines hands-on development, technical leadership, team mentorship, product planning, and strategic collaboration. The successful candidate will oversee platform performance and stability, lead code reviews, support data and integration strategies, and collaborate with architecture and security teams to define long-term platform direction. The role will support initiatives involving Salesforce, MuleSoft integrations, Experience Cloud enhancements, and Conga CLM while driving the use of AI and automation to improve operational efficiency and partner experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10-12 internal and professional services developers.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and development support to team members.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to hands-on Salesforce development as needed.
• Oversee data and integration strategies, including APIs, MuleSoft, and Salesforce configuration.
• Monitor Salesforce platform performance and ensure system health, stability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with security teams to assess technical issues and maintain appropriate platform configurations.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform strategy and roadmap development.
• Define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with business and platform objectives.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness activities.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
• Support initiatives to migrate integrations from MuleSoft to internal platforms.
• Support functionality enhancements and UI improvements across Salesforce Experience Cloud environments.
• Champion the use of AI and automation to improve partner experiences and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with professional services partners on Salesforce platform initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industry experience in a technology environment delivering complex products.
• 5+ years of experience managing SaaS platform capabilities with a focus on stability, performance, and operational excellence.
• 5+ years of experience developing product roadmaps, writing user stories, and refining product backlogs.
• 5+ years of experience using analytics and optimization tools to support product planning and decision-making.
• 5+ years of experience working with design and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
• 3+ years of experience with the Salesforce Platform, including Salesforce architecture, data models, and out-of-the-box capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce data and integration capabilities, including APIs and platform configuration.
• Understanding of Conga CLM.
• Experience applying AI and automation within enterprise products.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
