Full Job Description
The Role

The Senior Manager/Director, Sales Training will lead the strategy, development, delivery, and ongoing optimization of sales and leadership training for the U.S. launch and commercialization of ANAPHYLM.

As a key member of the commercial organization, this individual will be responsible for building a comprehensive learning curriculum that equips sales leaders and specialty sales representatives with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary for launch success and growth. The Director will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and external partners to translate commercial strategy into effective, compliant, and measurable learning experiences.

Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, outstanding facilitation and communication skills, strong cross-functional leadership, and a dedication to an impactful Commercial Training and Development culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and/or participate in the design, development, and implementation of a training curriculum for the launch of ANAPHYLM
  • Partner with internal team members to develop and maintain product and brand related sales training resources, workshops, and presentations to ensure content meets the needs of all partners
  • Design and develop training content independently and with vendors
  • Facilitate virtual and live training for sales leaders and specialty sales representatives
  • Develop and facilitate "Train the Trainer" sessions with Sales Leaders, prior to National Meetings, POAs and launch meetings as well as lead the development process for these events
  • Manage all aspects of initial sales training, including content development, agenda management, stakeholder management, home study training and facilitating live classroom training
  • Cross-functional Partnerships
  • Build and maintain external strategic partnerships (e.g., Industry thought leaders, vendors, professional conference affiliations)
  • Develop, own, and iterate a well-thought-out training strategy and tactical plan for all training initiatives for which you are accountable
  • Demonstrate strong peer-to-peer leadership, evidenced by trust, integrity, accountability, and the ability to influence without authority as well as soliciting and acting upon feedback
  • Make contributions to the team beyond function and invest in the development of others through active coaching
  • Establish metrics to evaluate training effectiveness, knowledge retention, certification performance, and launch readiness
  • Monitor and report training progress, readiness indicators, risks, and developmental opportunities to commercial leadership
  • Collect and incorporate field feedback, coaching observations, and assessment data to continuously improve training programs
  • Apply a performance consulting approach to identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend effective interventions
  • Evaluate learning outcomes and ensure training investments support commercial objectives and field effectiveness
  • Expected travel of 50%

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related life sciences commercial experience
  • Minimum 4 years of sales training, commercial learning and development, sales leadership, or related experience
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and facilitating pharmaceutical sales training programs
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to translate complex scientific and commercial concepts into engaging learning experiences
  • Strong project management, organizational, and planning skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, AI, and related business applications
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%, including overnight and occasional weekend travel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other related project management tools
  • Experience in allergy/respiratory/immunology preferred

Expected base salary range: $175,000 to $200,000/year
