Job Description:The
Sales Operations Representative supports day-to-day sales operations activities by assisting Sales Account Managers, senior Sales Operations team members, and cross-functional partners with order management, customer communication, data maintenance, and shipment follow-up. This role is designed for an early-career professional who is developing foundational knowledge of sales operations, customer support, ERP/CRM systems, and semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities: Account & Customer Management- Support assigned customer accounts under the guidance of senior Sales Operations team members.
- Assist Sales Account Managers with routine account activity, customer follow-up, and internal coordination.
- Develop professional working relationships with customer procurement, operations, and internal support teams.
- Provide timely updates on order status, shipment timing, and open action items as directed.
Forecast Management & Demand Alignment- Assist with collecting and updating customer demand information in coordination with Sales Account Managers.
- Support forecast data entry, validation, and follow-up to help maintain accurate demand information.
- Coordinate with Planning and senior team members to confirm basic supply and schedule information.
- Maintain CRM and ERP records accurately, including customer information, order details, and follow-up notes.
Order Management & Execution- Support order management activities from purchase order receipt through shipment under supervision.
- Assist with order entry and validation, including checking accuracy of part numbers / configurations, delivery dates, customer-specific requirements.
- Help track backlog, expedite requests, pushouts, and order changes while escalating issues as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams to confirm customer requirements and support schedule alignment.
On-Time Delivery & Supply Chain Coordination- Monitor shipment status and support on-time delivery follow-up for assigned orders or accounts.
- Assist Planning and Supply Chain teams by gathering updates related to capacity constraints, long lead-time materials, build and qualification timelines.
- Identify and communicate potential schedule risks to senior team members for guidance.
- Support escalation tracking by documenting issues, owners, and next steps.
New Product Introduction (NPI) / Design Support- Assist with tracking new probe card design activity and related customer or engineering updates.
- Support coordination across Sales, Engineering, and Operations by helping track customer qualifications, first silicon / first article timelines, design iterations and revisions.
- Update NPI milestone trackers and follow up on open items as assigned.
- Help ensure customer updates are communicated clearly and consistently through the appropriate account owner.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Support coordination across key functional teams, including sales, planning, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing / operations.
- Participate in account reviews, supply/demand calls, and production meetings to capture updates and action items.
- Follow up with internal stakeholders to support customer commitments and operational priorities.
- Maintain reports, trackers, and KPI data to support visibility into account and order status.
- Identify routine process issues and suggest improvements to senior team members or management.
Preferred Qualifications & Experiences: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 0-2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Customer Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or a related business support role.
- Interest in semiconductor, wafer test, high-tech manufacturing, or customer operations preferred.
- Basic understanding of, or willingness to learn Forecasting and demand planning concepts, Order management and ERP/CRM systems, Supply chain and manufacturing workflows.
Success Measures:- Accurate and timely updates to customer, order, forecast, and shipment data.
- Effective follow-up on open orders, backlog items, and shipment status.
- Timely escalation of risks, issues, and customer-impacting changes.
- Reliable support for account reviews, trackers, reports, and cross-functional action items.

Pay Range:$71,400.00 - $93,660.00
Pay Range Explained:This role in Livermore, California pays between $71,400.00 and $93,660.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
