Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the creation, production and delivery of sales forecasts, analysis and reporting in support of the sales planning process and sales of the company's products.
- Prepares sales forecasts, develops sales quotas, and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals.
- Monitors forecast accuracy.
- Works with sales, marketing and distribution for the purpose of improving operational efficiency.
- Researches and evaluates economic conditions that may affect the organization's ability to sell products, protect/increase market share, penetrate new markets, and maintain/improve operating margins.
- Recommends changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends.
- Develops new reports to meet the information needs of senior sales management.
- May provide work direction to less experienced team members.
What We Are Looking For- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 5 years related experience.
- Requires an advanced understanding of market trends and factors and an ability to identify likely impact on the sales of various products.
- Must have strong ability to analyze data and organize it into useful information.
- Require understanding of financial data and competitive markets.
- Must have knowledge of SAP query design, and Microsoft Office including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Requires strong oral and written communication skills.
What We OfferCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $82,000 - $107,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
