JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Overview
We are seeking a strong and charismatic leader with a proven track record in leading oncology or specialty sales forth teams on a national level. Working closely with the Sr. Director, Country Manager, Canada to improve the overall success of the leadership team and the ability to overachieve sales and revenue targets.

Operational Excellence is a strong driver in our business. Close collaboration with the commercial operations team in Zug is key for success.

Essential Duties:
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Leadership of the CAN sales team to fully leverage the best in class product Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score in breast centers and key accounts across Canada.
  • Development of a national sales strategy as member of CAN leadership team.
  • Implement and optimize the KOL management and Peer to peer education strategy.
  • Optimize the existing account management system in constant exchange with sales excellence team in Zug and CAN leadership team.
  • Potential driven territory management for all sales territories, specific quantitative and qualitative goal setting and optimization of business review process with Key Account Manager team


The Sales Manager will be the spearhead of the whole Key Account Manager team in optimizing and strengthen the collaboration with national and regional Key Opinion Leaders together with the Director Medical Affairs. Focusing on implementation of the company strategy and development of Excellence Centers amongst the respective TOP accounts. Strengthen relationship to experts in Gynecological Oncology, Oncology, Pathology, Urology, ... to increase support for the overall company strategy.

Consistent demonstration of exceptional leadership qualities, including but not limited to the ability to attract and retain the best team, foster a culture of high performance, lead with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage, and set a clear vision to energize teams towards the future.
Effectively manage, support, and guide your team, including, but not limited to delegating tasks and responsibilities, assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Significant pharmaceutical/diagnostics sales team management experience, ideally within oncology or specialty business.
  • Strong experience and track record in selling with a strong record of success promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics.
  • Marketing or managed care experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experienced and motivated coach - develop a team of top performing sales experts.
  • High degree of flexibility to allow efficient coaching and KOL management.
  • Life science degree/clinical experience are a plus.
  • Clean driver's license.
