Full Job Description
Your Role:

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing sales strategy in line with the strategic direction of Process Solutions, and delivering the sales performance of your Sales Team. Leadership of your direct team and collaboration with every touch point in the organization is paramount to success in this role. You will be responsible for creating and driving effective business plans to meet and exceed sales and profit targets. Also, have responsibility for developing, maintaining and managing within an expense budget as designated. You will actively coach and develop direct reports to continually improve sales, forecasting and business skills. The scope of responsibility is defined by market segments, product lines, channel to market, geographic area and/or named accounts. Will be required to travel for internal meetings, customer visits, including overnight and some weekend travel.

You will be responsible for leading the North American Northeast field sales team for Process Solutions to biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical accounts. You will develop, guide and retain a sales team able to drive the current goals and opportunities and support future growth and strategic direction. Closely collaborate with the Business Franchise, Sales Specialists, Technical & Scientific Solutions, Operational Product Management, Supply Chain, Commercial Services, and other commercial teams to understand potential paths to grow the business. Responsible for target setting such that corporate goals are met while delivering sales results. Deliver regular, timely and accurate forecasts for sales and order intake. Cascade organizational vision and strategies ensuring clear understanding within the team. Review and modify business plans to ensure alignment with the strategic direction and achievement targets. Manage budget and allocate funds where appropriate.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience of related experience in pharma, biopharma industry or relevant field
  • 7+ years of sales/commercial experience in the pharma and biopharma industry
  • 3+ years of people leadership and management experience
  • General to advanced financial, business and contracting acumen
  • Strong analytical skills in leveraging data and analytics to make sound strategic/tactical recommendations and business decisions
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform well under pressure
  • Previous experience with various sales tools and technology, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office software, Sales Force or other CRM, marketing software, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other social platforms


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Global knowledge of Millipore Sigma Process Solutions capabilities and understanding of various divisions, departments, cGMP and/or other relevant quality systems with strong evidence of collaborating in a matrix environment and department functions/roles
  • Results oriented and able to work with partners to prioritize and manage conflicting expectations
  • Strong networking skills externally and internally
  • Demonstrate agility to lead through change and break siloed thinking as requirements, systems and processes evolve


Pay Range for this position: $143,600-$221,500

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
