Full Job Description
Your Role

Help shape quality for highly engineered materials used in the integrated circuit industry. As Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the day to day quality activities of an analytical laboratory in Charlotte, North Carolina and support the quality management system for United States manufacturing. You will own the laboratory's ISO 9001 quality management system, guide quality assurance and quality control colleagues, and ensure reliable certificate of conformance reporting, analytical support, equipment performance, calibration, qualification, and method improvement. You will coordinate audits, customer investigations, nonconforming product decisions, and risk reduction initiatives while partnering with manufacturing and customers. By turning data into clear action, you will strengthen compliance, product quality, safe operations, and continuous improvement. The role includes less than 10% travel, primarily domestically.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or another engineering or life science discipline.
  • 7 or more years of combined experience in manufacturing and quality laboratory environments, including at least 2 years of people management.
  • At least 2 years of experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a quality control laboratory.
  • Experience leading customer information requests and investigations, statistical analysis, root cause problem solving, and quality tools such as control plans, failure mode and effects analysis, change control, document control, statistical process control, 8D problem solving, and measurement system analysis.
  • Experience in a semiconductor or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • ISO 9001 Quality Auditor, American Society for Quality, or Certified Quality Engineer certification.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.


US Base Pay Range for this position - $105,400 to $158,000

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
