POSITION SUMMARYThe Sales Manager plays a key role in the selling process and identifies opportunities to increase market presence to meet sales goals. This position creates business relationships and encourages client growth through solution-based selling.
Pay: $115,000-125,000 (depending on experience) plus a 10% Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) bonus based on annual company and individual goals after the first full year of employment.
Location: Whittier, CA - Onsite (No Remote/ No Hybrid Option)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Manages the Sales Department and sales support staff and representatives within the company to see that they meet or exceed target volumes for sales.
- Forecasts anticipated market sales, sets sales quotas, and advises upper management about sales performance.
- Develops annual forecast of sales orders and annual expense budget along with monthly sales order forecasting.
- Reviews market analyses and meets with customers to discuss their current and future needs.
- Analyzes sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements.
- Develops and implements new sales campaigns, initiatives, strategies, and programs to attract new and retain current customers.
- Assigns sales territories, sets sales goals and quotas, and establishes training programs for the company's Sales Representatives.
- Presides over sales meetings and develops sales scripts and motivational material.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's Degree in Sales or related field
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred
• 8+ years progressive sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect); Prior managerial/supervisory experience
• Periodic/Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
