EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $99,607.94 - $136,960.92 Annually

The pay ranges listed above are for each position's base pay only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for every aspect of achieving revenue and earnings targets for their assigned sales accounts. This includes sales forecasting, planning, and developing strategies for future business. Management of the accounts includes oversight of sales, service, and technical support for all product lines. The Sales Account Manager uses leadership skills to build strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Ideal candidate will be located in the Midwest area of the United States.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales growth and new product introductions. {E}
  • Effectively document and report back on customer requirements and information obtained during meetings with customers. {E}
  • Introduce new Hitachi products and develop sales plans. {E}
  • Grow and maintain relationships at the management and executive levels that are of strategic importance to the company. {E}
  • Represent the company to the customer and vice versa. {E}
  • Attend account meetings where you will provide information on technology and present/demonstrate how the technology will meet their customer's needs. {E}
  • Within HTA, coordinate and drive the necessary communication and actions to secure sales and/or solve all customer-related difficulties. {E}
  • Accurately forecast and achieve budget objectives. {E}
  • Exhibit leadership by projecting a positive attitude to all employees and customers. {E}
  • Portray professionalism and pride in appearance while conforming to policy. {E}
  • Comply and adhere to company policies. {E}
  • Utilize SalesForce.com daily by keeping records of accounts, calls, quotes, leads, and expense reports in a timely manner. {E}

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • Must have and retain valid driver's license in resident state and must be insurable by our insurance company.


EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Five (5) years' experience in the analytical science/chemistry or material analysis is preferred
  • Experience in sales and account management.
  • Knowledge utilizing common work and sales tools, i.e., Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, MS Office Suite, Shared Calendar.
  • Demonstrated experience in large account management, including experience growing the business and experience with problem solving.
  • Up to 75% domestic and international travel (approximately 50% travel on average).

  • Strong sense of business objectives and a solid instinct on how to best implement those objectives.
