Roles and Responsibilities- Interpret and qualify customer-provided documents such as prints, CAD files, and specifications
- Full understanding of tolerances, materials, specifications, and processing options that will guide a robust metal supply chain creation
- Manage part specific supply chains by utilizing internal and external processing assets to meet customer quality and delivery requirements
- Estimate material, labor, and delivery options on a part-level basis and develop contract pricing templates based on awarded work
- Evaluating sales proposals to ensure they are technically accurate and consistent with the organization's quality standards
- Conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific prices
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of sales experience in the metal industry
- Print reading required. CAD or drafting experience a plus
- Experience with SAP is highly preferred
- MS Office software skills required, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in sales or customer service is an asset
- Working knowledge of geometry, strong math skills, and a technical aptitude
Salary:$64,295.02 - $96,442.52 Annually. A starting salary higher than $64,295.02 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commesnsurate withe the compensation scale.
