Sales Engagement Specialist responsible for driving proactive customer and prospect engagement that accelerates pipeline growth, supports revenue objectives, and enhances the overall customer experience throughout the sales lifecycle. This role serves as a trusted partner to sales teams, marketing, and business development organizations by executing targeted outreach strategies, coordinating customer engagement initiatives, and ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities- Partner with Applications Sales, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Marketing, and Sales Leadership to execute strategic customer engagement initiatives that generate qualified pipeline and accelerate sales opportunities.
- Develop and execute engagement plans that increase customer awareness, strengthen relationships, and drive participation in campaigns, events, webinars, and executive briefings.
- Serve as a primary point of coordination between sales teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on customer priorities, account strategies, and engagement activities.
- Support account-based marketing (ABM) and territory planning efforts through targeted outreach, customer research, and personalized engagement strategies.
- Coordinate customer communications across multiple channels, ensuring timely follow-up, consistent messaging, and a high-quality customer experience.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities while maintaining accurate engagement activity within CRM systems.
- Develop customer-facing presentations, sales collateral, executive briefing materials, and communications that effectively articulate Oracle Applications value propositions.
- Analyze customer engagement metrics, campaign performance, and pipeline activity to identify trends, recommend improvements, and optimize engagement strategies.
- Partner with Marketing and Enablement teams to support product launches, demand generation campaigns, and customer events that increase market awareness and sales effectiveness.
- Help drive adoption of sales engagement best practices, tools, and processes to improve productivity and customer interactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, and Product Management to ensure coordinated customer engagement.
- Support executive meetings, customer workshops, and strategic account reviews by coordinating logistics, communications, and follow-up activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer touchpoints, streamline engagement processes, and enhance the overall buyer experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain a customer-first mindset by promoting responsiveness, collaboration, and operational excellence in every customer interaction.
- Ensure all customer engagement activities comply with Oracle policies, data privacy standards, and applicable business processes.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and share best practices that improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement outcomes.
What you will bring ( Requirements)- Knowledge and experience with public sector cloud providers including Oracle, SAP, Workday
- Cloud Modernization
- 10+ years relevant experience in the Federal Government
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and business development skills
- Familiarity with Oracle solutions a plus
- Willingness to rapidly learn Oracle's technology
