Full Job Description
Overview

The Windows Solutions Specialist Enablement lead equips Windows Solutions Specialists to engage enterprise customers and move them through the funnel with confidence. This is a marketing role that owns the enablement system for the Specialist cohort: the knowledge platform, sales plays, readiness, and certification that make Specialists effective in front of customers.

This is a Sales Enablement Lead that acts as a feedback loop between category, the Solution Specialists and Product Group to build the content required to advance the sale and effectively position Windows in the market - translating technical proof into Specialist-ready plays, talk tracks, demos, objection handling, etc. - and aligns that source material to the stages of the sales funnel so every asset maps to the customer conversation and stage where a Specialist needs it.

This role will also work with the broader Microsoft sales and learning teams to curate and create content, certifications and integrate Windows devices into those tools and platforms.

This is a hands-on delivery role for a builder. It requires enablement and content craft, instructional design, fluency with Sales funnel stages, comfort with AI-powered enablement platforms, and the ability to orchestrate across a matrix of stakeholders.

This role builds and runs the engine that ensures Windows Solutions Specialists have the right skilling and tools to successfully engage customers through the sales funnel. The right person will take the technical field source content and GTM priorities and turn them into the tools, plays, training, and knowledge platform - aligned to the MCEM funnel - that make Specialists credible with customers, effective through the funnel, and connected to the SMEs, investments, and partners that close deals.

For internal candidates, this is a high-visibility marketing delivery role at the center of a shared, advisor-led motion. For external candidates, it is a chance to build a new enterprise sales enablement discipline inside one of Microsoft's most important platform businesses.

Responsibilities

Content Curation & Creation
  • Leverage technical source content from across the product groups and other Learning teams and build sales enablement tools and content from it - sales plays, talk tracks, demos, objection handling, etc..
  • Align the source material to the Microsoft Sales Funnel (Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology - MCEM) so every asset maps to the right customer conversation and funnel stage.
  • Own the Specialist knowledge platform and AI-powered enablement experience - a single place Specialists go for plays, content, and answers.

Readiness, Certification & Execution
  • Design and deliver readiness and role-based certification that verifies Specialists are ready to effectively engage at the right intensity and depth at all levels in an enterprise organization.
  • Co-develop and deliver the sales plays and drive execution excellence across the Specialist community, reinforcing them in the flow of work.
  • Assess Specialist capability and close skill gaps with targeted enablement based on individual and market performance.

Customer Journey Enablement
  • Equip Specialists to confidently navigate the Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM) from discovery through opportunity progression.
  • Develop sales plays aligned to each stage of the customer journey, with a focus on Windows devices, AI PCs, and Rooms of the House scenarios.
  • Enable Specialists to recognize when and how to engage technical experts, partners, investment programs, and the Deal Clinic.

Insight, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Capture field and Specialist insight (voice of the Specialist, win / loss) and feed it back into tools, content, and readiness.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to build a holistic view of deal handling best practices leveraging qualitative and quantitative data. Build insights into training to support higher win rates
  • Understand where and why customers are stalling or churning out of the sales funnel. Leverage feedback loop to evolve enablement content to drive velocity and better outcomes through the funnel.

  • Strong grasp of enterprise customer buying, solution-selling motions, and the MCEM funnel (or an equivalent enterprise sales methodology).
  • Experience building and running enablement on a knowledge platform, including AI-powered enablement platforms.

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience
