Job Skills / RequirementsThe Sales Director is responsible for leading and developing a team of Account Managers focused on growing recurring revenue through the sale of service and monitoring contracts. This position will establish and drive sales goals, coach and develop the sales team, manage sales performance and pipelines, and identify opportunities for continued business growth.

What You'll Be Doing- Lead, coach, and develop Account Managers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Establish and manage quarterly and annual sales goals and performance expectations.
- Develop sales strategies to increase recurring revenue through service and monitoring contracts.
- Monitor sales activity, pipelines, proposals, and results to ensure goals are being met.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to help Account Managers improve sales performance.
- Assist with key customer opportunities, presentations, negotiations, and closing strategies.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and convert customers with competitor systems.
- Build relationships with customers, referral sources, and community and industry organizations.
- Partner with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to customer service and business development.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and development of sales team members.
- Travel as needed.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
What You'll Need- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous sales management or leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales goals and developing new business.
- Experience selling security, fire alarm, service agreements, monitoring, or other recurring-revenue services preferred.
- Experience working with facility managers, building owners, property managers, or other commercial decision-makers preferred.
- Knowledge of fire alarm and/or security systems preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Must be able to obtain required licenses and certifications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
