Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and engage target prospects through outbound and inbound channels, including email, phone, LinkedIn, marketing campaigns, trade events, webinars, and other prospecting activities.

  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to generate qualified meetings and new business opportunities for Armanino’s service lines.

  • Research prospect organizations, industries, business trends, and key decision-makers to identify relevant business challenges and potential areas where Armanino can provide value.

  • Develop a strong understanding of Armanino’s service offerings and value propositions and effectively communicate relevant solutions based on prospect needs.

  • Engage with C-level and other senior-level decision-makers to initiate conversations, understand business needs, and determine appropriate next steps.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business need, timing, fit, and potential opportunity, and coordinate appropriate handoffs to Business Development, Account Management, Partners, and service-line leaders.

  • Collaborate with Business Development, Client Management, Firmwide Account Management, Marketing, Partners, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate opportunity pursuits, sales handoffs, and appointment setting.

  • Utilize sales and research tools, including Outreach.io, LinkedIn, PitchBook, ZoomInfo, and CRM, to research prospects, execute outreach, maintain accurate data, and track sales activity and results.

  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including prospect information, outreach activity, meeting outcomes, and opportunity details.

  • Stay informed on market, industry, and business trends and participate in ongoing training to strengthen knowledge of Armanino’s services, industries, and sales processes.

  • Take initiative to continuously develop knowledge of new Armanino services, solutions, and capabilities and apply that knowledge to prospecting and business development activities.

  • Build strong internal relationships and serve as a trusted partner to Business Development, Client Management, Marketing, Partners, and service-line teams to support firmwide growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales development, business development, inside sales, lead generation, client service, or a related role preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively prospect, initiate conversations, qualify leads, and generate meetings with prospective clients.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently with executives and other senior-level decision-makers.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with prospects and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to research organizations, industries, and business challenges and use that information to develop relevant and targeted outreach.

  • Highly organized and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, outreach activities, follow-ups, and priorities simultaneously.

  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment and accountable for achieving activity, meeting-generation, pipeline, and other performance goals.

  • Ability to learn and communicate complex professional services and business concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Strong curiosity and willingness to continuously learn about accounting, consulting, technology, tax, and other professional services.

  • Experience using CRM and sales technology platforms; familiarity with tools such as Salesforce/Dynamics, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms preferred.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $88,800 - $102,100. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $97,700 - $112,400. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $102,100 - $117,400. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
