Full Job Description
Acumatica is seeking a Sales Development Representative for generating new sales opportunities for the company through prospecting research and outreach efforts, including but not limited to, phone, email, and social channels. They will execute sales sequences in HubSpot that will open the door to new potential customers, including reengaging with past opportunities and net new accounts. After qualifying a new opportunity, the SDR will introduce and pass off the opportunity to the Sales Development Management team, and in doing so, advance the sales process.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Build out lists of qualified accounts and prospects that fit Acumatica's ICP
• Execute strategic sales sequences in HubSpot, qualify prospects at net new logos for Acumatica, and schedule meetings as new sales opportunities.
• Track and report on your activity and pipeline in CRM.
Qualifications
• You have a bachelor's degree (Any Major Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Psychology preferred)
• Experience prospecting, list building, cold calling, executing email campaigns, appointment setting, demand generation.
• Experience using CRM (HubSpot), Microsoft (Outlook, Excel), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, sales-enablement tools (dialer, content generation) or AI tools (Claude, Jasper, etc.)
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written, to VP and C-level executives
• Proven and creative problem-solving skills
• Looking for positive attitude, competitiveness, coachability, resourceful, professionalism, tone, and engagement
• Work is performed in a hybrid model out of our Reston, Virginia office and working from home.
For this role, compensation is comprised of a base salary of $70,000, plus quarterly bonuses based on performance, totaling an OTE of $92,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant elements.
At Acumatica, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock for full-time employees. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
