Full Job Description
Semperis is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to support the accurate, timely, and scalable administration of our global compensation programs. This lead-level individual contributor will own day-to-day administration of Xactly Incent, oversee commission calculation and reconciliation processes, and deliver reporting and analysis that help Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, and business leaders understand compensation results.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on Xactly Incent expertise with strong analytical, operational, and stakeholder-management skills. They will serve as a subject-matter resource for compensation processes, identify opportunities to improve data quality and controls, and help ensure that incentive results are accurately reflected in employee statements and downstream Finance processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Own day-to-day administration of Xactly Incent, including participant data, access, plan assignments, configuration, data uploads, and global incentive plan maintenance.
• Lead the annual implementation of all compensation plans maintained in Xactly Incent in partnership with Revenue Operations and the Global Compensation Director, including configuration, data validation, testing, approvals, and plan-year readiness.
• Own compensation plan letter administration, including preparation, coordination, issuance, and maintenance.
• Provide onboarding and training to employees and managers on compensation plans, statements, and incentive calculations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders on compensation plan and incentive-related matters.
• Manage recurring commission and incentive calculations from source-data validation through final review and approval, ensuring approved results and payment files are delivered to Payroll within required deadlines.
• Investigate discrepancies involving assignments, splits, credits, quotas, rates, currencies, plan terms, and adjustments; prepare and document true-ups and corrections.
• Partner with the Revenue Analyst on GAAP compliance as it relates to compensation processes.
• Produce reporting and analysis on incentive attainment, commissions, payments, and reconciliation status; analyze large datasets, identify trends and anomalies, and translate findings into clear explanations for stakeholders.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of Xactly Incent data against Salesforce, HR, payroll, and Finance systems to validate completeness, accuracy, and payment readiness.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, improve controls and operating procedures, and support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including commission accruals as applicable.

Qualifications
• Hands-on experience administering Xactly Incent and global compensation programs, including plan assignments, calculations, reporting, data uploads, implementations, and issue resolution.
• Experience performing commission calculations, reconciliations, variance analysis, adjustments, and audit support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation methods, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Finance, Revenue Operations, Human Resources, Sales Operations, Legal, Payroll, or related stakeholders.
• Ability to create repeatable processes, maintain accurate documentation, improve controls, and manage confidential compensation information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet short payroll and month-end close deadlines while maintaining data accuracy.

Preferred Education and Experience
• 2+ years of experience in sales compensation and commission program administration, implementation, and analysis.
• Relevant experience in variable-pay payroll, Sales or Revenue Operations, accounting, audit, or financial analysis is also valuable.
• Experience supporting global compensation programs across multiple countries or currencies.
• Experience supporting compensation or finance processes in a public company, high-tech, or SaaS environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with US GAAP, including ASC 606, is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce, Workday, or NetSuite is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
• Positive, proactive, hands-on approach to challenges and continuous improvement.
