Target Pay: The target starting base salary for this position is $100,800.00 - $121,000.00 / year (plus quarterly bonus and sales incentive). What You'll Be DoingCustomer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary commercial representative for assigned customer accounts
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer decision makers and key stakeholders
- Conduct regular business reviews, customer visits, and strategic planning discussions to understand customer needs and strengthen partnerships
- Proactively address customer concerns and coordinate internal resources to support resolutions
Account Growth & Profitability
- Develop and execute account strategies to support revenue growth and profitability objectives
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing customer portfolios
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals in collaboration with estimating, engineering, and operations teams
- Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial reviews with customers
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and operational efficiencies
Program & Project Support
- Support customer programs throughout the product lifecycle, including new product launches, transfers, engineering changes, and ongoing production
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and successfully executed
- Monitor program performance and communicate risks, opportunities, and customer expectations to internal stakeholders
- Facilitate resolution of quality, delivery, engineering, or commercial issues impacting customer programs
Business Planning & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and account activity records within Salesforce (CRM)
- Provide regular updates regarding customer activity, program status, pipeline opportunities, and market developments
- Support annual budgeting, sales planning, and forecasting activities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Leadership teams to ensure alignment on customer expectations and business objectives
- Advocate for customer needs while balancing business priorities and operational capabilities
- Participate in internal reviews related to customer programs, business development initiatives, and strategic planning
Market & Industry Awareness
- Remain informed on industry trends, customer markets, competitive activities, and emerging manufacturing technologies
- Leverage market knowledge to identify opportunities that strengthen Cascade Engineering's position as a preferred manufacturing partner
- Represent the organization professionally during customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or customer relationship management within a business-to-business manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience managing customer accounts and developing long-term business relationships
- Experience preparing quotations, supporting pricing activities, and participating in commercial negotiations
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes across multiple functions
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Ability to travel as needed to support customer and business requirements
Preferred - Experience within plastic injection molding, contract manufacturing, tooling, engineered plastics, or related manufacturing industries
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, tooling development, resin selection, and manufacturing operations
- Experience supporting customers within the office furniture, material handling, automotive, industrial, or consumer products markets
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Understanding of manufacturing cost structures, pricing strategies, and profit optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and customer requirements
- Knowledge of product launch processes, engineering change management, and quality systems within a manufacturing environment
