About this roleThe Mission Critical Sales Representative will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and selling ALC solutions across the Data Center / Mission Critical sector. This individual will maintain and expand ongoing relations, identify, and meet with key customer personnel and decision makers, and facilitate relationships between customers and ALC management. This role may sit anywhere in the US near a major airport.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow assigned accounts while concurrently seeking new vertical customers
- Develop long term relationships and build partnerships with the customer
- Work effectively with internal personnel, create a strategic account plan, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce to meet or exceed annual sales and gross margin targets
- Assess customer needs and generate resulting proposals, promoting our products and services in a timely manner
- Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity within accounts
- Negotiate master service agreements (MSAs) and contracts with the assistance of our legal department
- Demonstrated strong controls applications intelligence, understanding of data center urgency, challenges, and unique mission critical requirements
Required Qualifications- Highschool Diploma/GED
- 5+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical sales, project management, or solutions-based technical selling
- Ability to travel 25-50%
- Valid driving license
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience using CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, estimating or proposal software) to manage pipelines and drive results
- Building Automation and/or HVAC Controls Sales experience
- Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills
- Collaboration skills for working in a team environment
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail orientated with strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence customer's key decision makers
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
