As a Safety Manager with Boldt's National Power & Industrial team, you'll help build complex power projects where safety, quality, and execution move forward together. Working alongside engineering, construction, and commissioning teams from early planning through final turnover, you'll identify risks early, shape practical strategies, and help teams solve challenges before they become problems. You won't simply enforce standards-you'll be a trusted advisor who strengthens collaboration and keeps great work moving safely.
You'll bring a visible, relationship-driven presence to major project sites, partnering with craft professionals, project leaders, and trade partners to create an environment where everyone is empowered to speak up, look out for one another, and take ownership of safety. Success is measured not only by strong compliance and performance results, but also by the trust, credibility, and shared accountability you build across the jobsite. What You Bring
Candidates whose experience or expertise substantially exceed the requirements of the role are encouraged to apply, as we may have current or future roles which may better align with experience.
- Five or more years of construction safety experience, with a focus on power or renewable energy projects.
- Experience supporting large, complex projects valued at $100 million or more in dynamic field environments.
- A practical understanding of how effective safety leadership supports project execution, productivity, quality, and strong team performance.
- Certified Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally to project sites on a full-time, project-based basis.
- Valid driver's license. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check.
Nice to Have
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
- OSHA 500 certification.
- First aid and/or CPR certification.
Compensation
Target Hiring Range: $82,000-$106,000 annually
Boldt recognizes that experience, expertise, and specialized skills create value. The target hiring range for this position is $82,000-$106,000 annually; compensation is negotiable and determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, geographic market conditions, internal equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and participation in applicable company benefit programs.
