Location: GM Arlington, Texas Join Boldt's automotive and industrial construction team supporting projects at one of the nation's premier automotive manufacturing facilities in Arlington, Texas. As a Senior Industrial Estimator, you will lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for manufacturing, production, facility expansion, process improvement, infrastructure, and capital construction projects. Working closely with owners, engineers, architects, trade partners, and project teams, you'll develop conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, GMP proposals, value engineering solutions, bid strategies, and cost models that help deliver successful projects from planning through construction.
The ideal candidate brings experience estimating industrial, manufacturing, automotive, heavy commercial, mission-critical, or process facility projects and has a strong understanding of construction means and methods, subcontractor procurement, conceptual estimating, quantity takeoffs, cost planning, and risk analysis. Experience with GMP, design-build, integrated project delivery, BIM tools, and self-perform construction is highly valued. What You Bring
Candidates whose experience or expertise substantially exceed the requirements of the role are encouraged to apply, as we may have current or future roles which may better align with experience.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, automotive, commercial, or large-scale capital projects.
- Experience developing conceptual estimates, detailed estimates, budgets, and GMP proposals for complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, subcontractor procurement, and estimating software
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting automotive manufacturing, assembly plant, or large-scale industrial facility construction projects.
- Experience with Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), or Target Value Design (TVD) project delivery methods.
- Working knowledge of BIM and VDC tools such as Revit, Vico, Navisworks, or similar construction technology platforms.
- Experience estimating projects within active manufacturing, production, or occupied industrial environments where operations must remain ongoing during construction.
Compensation
Target Hiring Range: $99,000 - $132,000 annually
Boldt recognizes that experience, expertise, and specialized skills create value. The target hiring range for this position is $99,000 - $132,000 annually; compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, geographic market conditions, internal equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and participation in applicable company benefit programs.
