Full Job Description
Track and facilitate the submission of National Security Clearances, Facility Data and Approval Record (FDAR), Contract Security Classification Specification (CSCS), and e-FOCI documentation within the ETAS organization.

Lead team efforts supporting multiple Safeguards and Security programs with security management responsibilities for the protection of several facilities and sites with operations supporting protection of classified matter and Category III & IV (and any combination of possible roll up scenarios due to site activities) Special Nuclear Material (SNM).

Responsible for ensuring the Security topical areas are adhered to and all ETAS Safeguards and Security deliverables to DOE are met on time.

Routinely interface with PPPO and contractor management and local, state, and federal emergency response agencies.

The ETAS Safeguards and Security program operates effectively and efficiently in accordance with DOE Order 470.4, Safeguards and Security Program, 32 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 117, and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) while being robust, resilient, adaptive, and consistent with the changing mission needs.

Principal reviewer of multiple contract proposals for PPPO.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with a minimum of five years of DOE or DoD related Security Programs experience or ten years related experience. Detailed knowledge of performing DOE Safeguards and Security tasks and/or responsibilities related to Program Planning and Management, e.g., Planning and Procedures; Physical Protection, Information Security, Personnel Security; Foreign Visits and Assignments and Materials Control and Accountability. Detailed knowledge of performing and leading DOE Assessments, Survey's, Corrective Action Plans and Survey & Comprehensive Self-Assessment Report development. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment, managing multiple projects, staff assignments, and job tasks concurrently Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel.

Experience with multiple program Security offices and Officially Designated Security Authorities Experience with Facility Security Office (FSO) authorities Experience Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) responsibilities

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
