Job Description
The Project Manager will provide project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high risk projects for the Agency. The Project Manager will keep timelines moving, follow up on issues and dependencies, bring the right people together when needed, and help make sure work is progressing as expected.

Must haves:

  • Strongstakeholder management, planning and resource management skills
  • Provenability to manage competing priorities, organize inputs from multiplestakeholders, and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Detail-orientedwith excellent organizational and time management skills, and the abilityto prioritize and handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Collaboration,coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works togethereffectively, this also involves conflict resolution
  • Demonstratedexperience leading and overseeing program strategy development frominception through to project close-out
  • Demonstratedability to develop successful relationship and build agreement withhigh-level internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstratedexperience understanding and articulating executive expectations andtranslating into program deliverables

  • Gainunderstanding of stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Developand implement change management strategies and associatedcommunications.
  • Developcharters to guide the work.
  • Preparesummaries for leadership, including status, risks, cadence, upcomingtouchpoints.
  • Developprofessional, consistent communication artifacts, including:

    • engagementsummaries,
    • meetingminutes & action logs.
  • Supportpreparation of materials for governance, leadership updates, workshops,and consultations.
  • Establishand maintain excellent working relationships and effective communicationwith the sponsor(s), internal and external partners, and project teammembers.
  • Organizeand lead project meetings.
  • Ensureeffective project change control.
  • Trackaction items and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Proactivelyidentify and manage risks, and systematically resolve or escalate knownissues in order that a clear output can be identified and achieved.


Requirements
