  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance multidisciplinary care approach.

The Professional Registered Nurse with advance training and education as an Enterostomal Therapist (ET) who is Certified or will be Certified within nine months of hire, in Wound and Ostomy care, (Continence care certification is optional).

The ET Nurse in person or by phone provides inpatient and outpatient consultative, acute, rehabilitative, and maintenance services to the patient population afflicted with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. The components of ET nursing include education, counseling, research and administration.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years of Medical/Surgical Clinical experiences in an acute care setting with a special interest in Enterostomal Therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an approved Enterostomal Therapy Education Program.
  • Upon hire: Current Board Certification in Wound and Ostomy Nursing (Continence Nursing optional). If not currently Board Certified, must complete a certification program within 9 months of hire and become certified

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
