Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in Case Management with a focus on Utilization Review.
The position requires three years of experience in an acute care setting.
The RN will be responsible for managing care for all inpatient units and the emergency room.
The workload includes seeing up to 20 patients per day with a patient ratio of 1 to 20.
Shifts will vary and can include 8 am to 4:30 pm or 4 pm to 12:30 am.
The RN will have two days off during the week when scheduled to work on weekends.
There are no holiday requirements, but working on holidays is available if desired.
The team will consist of professionals without an IV team and has 24/7 support from the pharmacy.
Common diagnoses will range from adult chronic and acute conditions, including med/surg, ortho, trauma, sepsis, wound care, and behavioral health.
Orientation will be provided specific to the unit and can last up to 10 days.
No call responsibility is required with hospitalists and intensivists available on-site.
This position ensures a collaborative environment with an established care team.
