Facility: Ascension St. Vincent

Department/Specialty: ICU Burn Care Center

Schedule: Full time | Days

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Lead daily operations, nursing workflow and staffing for the Burn ICU within the Burn Care Center, supporting patients with complex burn injuries through every stage of critical care.
  • Hire, coach and develop nurses, building a skilled team that provides compassionate, specialized care to patients and families.
  • Partner with physicians and other disciplines to address barriers to care and support coordinated treatment across the Burn Care Center.
  • Advance quality and safety through clinical policies, performance monitoring, and compliance with regulatory and Burn Care Center accreditation requirements.
  • Manage staffing and resources responsibly while supporting a positive experience for patients, families and associates.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • BSN strongly preferred for leadership role
  • Recent nursing experience with Burn Care
  • Critical Care | ICU experience
  • Previous leadership experience
