Our department features:

• Eight fully equipped operating suites
• 24/7 surgical services coverage
• 30-40 surgeries performed each weekday
• Advanced surgical specialties, including:
  • Open heart surgery
  • Joint replacement surgery
  • General surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Vascular surgery
  • Additional specialty procedures

You'll work alongside experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and nursing professionals who share a commitment to excellence in perioperative care.

As an Operating Room RN, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safe and effective surgical experiences for patients and families. Your clinical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate patient and procedural needs help drive successful outcomes from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing skilled perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Acting as a patient advocate in the operating room
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
• Maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment
• Documenting patient care according to professional standards
• Supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
• Minimum of two years of Operating Room circulating experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a Periop 101 course within six months
• Scrub experience preferred
• ACLS required within six months (department specific)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
