What You'll Be Doing
MAIN FUNCTIONS: To deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process. Functions as a professional nurse and delegates patient care to those under his/her supervision.
What We're Looking For
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
EXPERIENCE: Previous medical/surgical-oncology experience preferred.
LICENSURE/QUALIFICATIONS: Current license to practice professional nursing in New Jersey. Completion of I.V. certification, Phlebotomy certification and Chemotherapy competency as per hospital policy. Maintain current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider and maintain current American Heart Association certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. (BLS,ACLS) Recertification is required every two years.
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required
Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts; will cover Radiation Oncology as needed
