Job Description:

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to reconcile FTEs, open requisitions, and budgeted headcount.
  • Provides guidance for front line leaders in opening requisitions and obtaining approvals.
  • Makes hiring decisions to increase the pipeline of healthcare workers.
  • Collects, maintains, and analyzes data and metrics (recruitment, retention, speed of hire, quality of hire) to identify trends and make recommendations for hiring to the local leadership team.
  • Works closely with community partners, nursing development, and education teams, building relationships with local schools, faculty, and students to promote the local healthcare workforce.
  • Partners with Talent Strategy and Talent Acquisition for planning and executing hiring events at the facility and offsite.
  • Utilizes the Workforce Demand Dashboard to identify opportunities for workforce planning for future years.
  • Acts as a liaison for recruiters by interacting with hiring managers to evaluate candidates and fill vacancies.
  • Reviews daily applicant reports and assists hiring managers with expediting candidates in process and providing feedback to Talent Acquisition partners.
  • Guides intentional hiring on nursing units to align with applicant goals.
  • Partners with nursing unit leaders to coordinate job shadow and interviews.
  • Determines qualifying and disqualifying factors and redirects candidates to appropriate units if disqualified by a unit leader.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required. [Required]
  • Experience with social networking and internet vehicles to promote general interest in local facilities. [Required]
  • Ability to think strategically and thoughtfully outline project initiatives. Utilize change management techniques. [Required]

Education:
  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for registered nurse [Required]
  • Bachelor's in nursing, business, human resources, or related field [Preferred]
  • Master's in nursing, business, human resources, or related field [Preferred]

Work Experience:
  • 3+ hospital experience [Required]
  • 1+ Experience in healthcare sourcing, recruitment, sourcing, or recruitment marketing [Preferred]
