Full Job Description
Redeemer Health Care Center, a 5-star Cassia senior community, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team as a Nurse Manager in Minneapolis, MN. Do you want to work with a well-established consistent clinical team that supports the residents as well as each other? In this role, you will manage the clinical care of patients by collaborating with physicians and therapists, creating care plans, and assigning tasks to nurses and aides within a high acuity setting. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a hands-on leader.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working Monday-Friday with On-Call

Wage Range: $88,000 to $98,000 / year depending on experience.

Location: 625 W 31st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408

Nurse Manager Responsibilities:
  • Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide patient-related care.
  • Manage and assign tasks to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
  • Work with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Notify attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
  • Monitor in-house transfers, transfers to other facilities, and discharge planning.
  • Document and maintain paperwork, referral records, and reports.
  • Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Step in to support the nursing floor and provide direct patient care when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Nurse Manager Qualifications:
  • Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • TCU, LTC, and MDS experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
