RN Manager, Nursing Professional Practice & Magnet

Full-Time, 40 hrs/week

Summary:

The RN Manager, Nursing Professional Practice & Magnet provides leadership and direction for nursing professional practice, Magnet program initiatives, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for maintaining Magnet designation, advancing evidence-based practice, professional governance, nursing policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. The manager partners with nursing leadership, educators, and clinical teams to support professional development programs, including the clinical ladder, peer review, nurse residency, and student experiences, while ensuring compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing standards and regulatory requirements. This leader also provides oversight and development for a team of hospital educators, fostering excellence in nursing practice and patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Formal Education Required:

  • Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Applicants with a Bachelor's degree will be considered but are required to obtain MSN within three (3) years of employment
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body
  • Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio


Experience and Training Required:

  • If Bachelor's, four (4) years related professional experience OR
  • If Master's, degree two (2) years related professional experience OR
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice in lieu of experience requirement.
  • Professional Certification in Nursing Specialty
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Experience in evidence-based practice performance improvement methodologies
  • Experience in nursing education and training program development preferred
  • Experience in Magnet Recognition Program

$54.76/hr - $82.14/hr

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
