Full Job Description
The House Supervisor provides overall supervision and leadership for hospital personnel during routine and non-routine business hours, weekends, and holidays. Acts as Administrative liaison and clinical resource to staff; remains responsible for implementation of clinical and administrative standards, and oversight of patient care delivery and hospital operations, consistent with approved organizational standards. The NAS performs the critical function of assessing unit patient acuity; and assigning patient care according to individual patient needs, and the qualification, education, and experience of the nursing staff. House Supervisor coordinates bed control functions and facilitates inter-facility transfers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1. Current RN license in the State of California
2. Current BLS certification
3. Current ACLS and PALS certification or must obtain within 3 months of hire
4. Previous acute care experience required; experience in ER and/or ICU/CCU preferred
5. Must demonstrate competency in PACU within 1 month of hire
5. Must demonstrate competency in EKG/Rhythm strip interpretation within 6 month of hire
Wages are based on prior experience.
