Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
  • Must have an Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • PALS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience required.
  • Preferred: National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department.
  • Assess and triage patients efficiently based on severity of conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
  • Participate in emergency response protocols and procedures.

RN - Emergency Department

Anchorage, Alaska

U p to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Hours: Full Time (36 Hours Weekly) Night Shift

Required qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire

National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

1 year of nursing experience

Preferred qualifications:

Upon hire: National Certification in area of specialty
