Operations Leader (Production Supervisor)
Location: Vandergrift, Pennsylvania (Onsite)
Work Schedule: 5 Days/Week Onsite (M-F Day Shift)
Overtime: Premium pay for off-shifts & weekends

Experience Required: 4 - 12 Years
The Operations Leader (Production Supervisor) is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency within assigned production areas.
This role requires strong leadership in a heavy industrial environment, with a focus on continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and workforce supervision. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in steel, metals, or similar process industries and the ability to lead a diverse hourly workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production Management
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and output targets
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of equipment for on-time delivery
• Coordinate plant operations with internal and external stakeholders
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time
• Support implementation of process automation and operational efficiencies
• Drive improvements in annealing and pickling processes
Maintenance & Reliability
• Implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability
• Reduce downtime and quality issues caused by line stoppages
• Modify electrical systems based on operational needs
Team Leadership & Supervision
• Supervise and support hourly workforce
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members
• Create cross-training opportunities across operations
Safety & Compliance
• Enforce safety standards and housekeeping protocols
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain high standards of operational discipline
Must-Have Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technical Field OR
• Minimum 4+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience
• Experience in heavy industrial / manufacturing environment (steel, metals, chemicals, etc.)
• Strong leadership experience managing production teams

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints
