Job Description: - Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
- Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
- Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
- Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance.
- Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
- Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed. Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Other duties as assigned.
Education: • Associate's of Nursing [Required]• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience: • 1+ Acute care nursing experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
Pay Range:$31.44 - $54.92
