Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a Cath Lab
• Experience with cardiac interventions such as angioplasties
• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and diagnostic procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for cardiac patients
• Monitor patients during procedures and report changes
• Assist physicians with implants of pacemakers and defibrillators
• Educate patients and families on cardiac procedures and care
• Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with safety protocols
