Job Description

Join Reputation Risk Reporting & Middle Office, a global team within Risk Reporting Middle Office that supports JPMorgan Chase's risk management strategy by monitoring, controlling and reporting key data across various risk areas. You will have significant opportunities to lead, own processes, and drive improvements, as the team supports a wide range of risk types across all businesses the bank offers.

Asan Associate in the Reputation Risk Reporting team, you will monitor/improve data quality, produce reports used by management for business decisions, and support change in the Reputation Risk requirements and approach to support stakeholders. Additionally, you will support Reputation Risk framework, and you will forge strong relationships with technology, reporting, Reputation Risk Governance, and the middle office functions of other risk stripes. In this team, you will have the opportunity to learn about Reputation Risk principles and to assess and establish control processes in support of risk management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Own recurring and ad hoc reporting and presentations for risk managers and senior managers, including, but not limited to, escalation volumes, trends, analysis results, data extracts and operating model themes.
  • Perform aggregation and analysis of exposures and data-attribute changes for risk-reporting packages with various frequency and deadlines.
  • Execute strong data quality and controls within aggregation systems by leveraging system tools to validate inputs/outputs, performing reasonability checks, and proactively addressing breaks to protect accuracy and consistency of reported results.
  • Execute user acceptance testing for Reputation Risk infrastructure initiatives, translating business requirements into test scenarios, documenting outcomes, and partnering with stakeholders to resolve defects and confirm readiness.
  • Understand and apply the control framework by demonstrating working knowledge of relevant controls and policies, identifying control gaps, and leading targeted projects that strengthen the control environment.
  • Own documentation deliverables for operating procedures, user tools, and process adjustments, keeping materials audit-ready, current, and aligned to how work is performed.
  • Partner effectively with business stakeholders to triage and resolve data-quality exceptions, communicating root cause, remediation steps, timelines, and residual risks where applicable.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology and other stakeholders on system and process improvements, contributing to requirements, prioritization, testing, release planning, and post-release monitoring.
  • Build and maintain scalable, intelligent solutions (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau) that improve transparency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen governance through documented logic, controls, and maintainability.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in reporting, financial analytics, or related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related quantitative discipline
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and make continuous progress toward meeting business objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize information and present clearly and confidently to senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating in teams and communicating across departments


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Experience in data science (e.g., machine learning), data analytics platforms (e.g., Alteryx), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and programming languages (e.g., Python)
  • Background in Risk is a plus
