Job DescriptionAECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Risk Analyst in New York, NY:
Job Details:
- Review project documents and analyze project data to develop risk profiles and risk registers for projects and programs
- Prepare and update project risk registers
- Develop quantitative integrated costs and schedule risk models to support the informed decision-making of projects and programs
- Facilitate cross-functional risk workshops with project stakeholders, including project, commercial, technical, and legal project professionals for asset classes including public transit, hospitality, healthcare, energy transmission and generation, water, and transportation
- Prepare interdisciplinary discussions to develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure risk mitigation strategies are effectively implemented
- Prepare and deliver risk management reports and presentations
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize risk metrics and key performance indicators for internal or client-facing purposes
QualificationsCandidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Architecture or a related field and 2 years of experience as a Risk Manager, Project Cost Analyst, or a related occupation.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Architecture or a related field and 1 year of experience as a Risk Manager, Project Cost Analyst, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Working through program and project life cycles within the engineering and construction industry
- Microsoft Excel
- Monte Carlo simulation
- Quantitative Risk Analysis
- Program and Project Risk Management
- Competency with infrastructure engineering concepts
- Leading multi-disciplinary discussions
- Competency with Project and Program Controls.
